Job summary

RSM UK is offering a graduate programme in External Audit designed to build strong foundations for a Chartered Accountant career. You’ll join audit teams from day one, work on risk-based reviews, and contribute to delivering accurate financial statements.

You’ll study towards your CA qualification, with structured training, an online learning portal, and a supportive environment that values collaboration, development, and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification) or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• An obtained/predicted honours degree.
• Existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely with team members and clients.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling relationship-building and composure under pressure.
• Genuine interest in business and commerce with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with audit colleagues to conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes, and controls.
• Play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and building trust among stakeholders.
• Begin studies toward Chartered Accountant qualification as soon as you join, with first exams in early months.
