Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our established accountancy practice across four locations. You will lead audit assignments, build client relationships and develop your leadership skills.

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with practice audit experience is required. You will plan resources, supervise staff and ensure compliance with IFRS/FRS, delivering timely, high-quality audits.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience managing clients and supervising junior staff.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• Previous audit and accounts experience within practice.

Responsibilities

• Preparing audit reports and presenting key findings to senior management.
• Planning audit resources, allocating workloads and managing deadlines.
• Carrying out risk assessments and evaluating internal controls.
• Identifying opportunities to improve audit processes and client procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing regulations.
• Monitoring budgets and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
• Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other services within the business.
• Providing constructive feedback and helping junior staff progress.
