Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager (SN2) to lead multiple audits from planning through completion. You will supervise junior staff, manage client communications, and ensure timely, high-quality audit services for Mid-Market and privately owned businesses.

You will work within a collaborative team across audit and related service lines, embracing growth, development, and a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent required.
• Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK GAAP/ IFRS and Companies Act.

Responsibilities

• Audit Delivery – manage audits for Mid-Market, SMEs and privately owned businesses.
• Planning & Organisation – develop audit strategies and scoping plans.
• Technical Application – apply UK GAAP/FRS102, IFRS, Companies Act knowledge.
• Review & Reporting – draft sections of audit opinions and group packs.
• Team Support – supervise audit assistants and seniors during fieldwork.
