Job summary

Dot Partners, a growing accountancy and business advisory firm, is seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to take ownership of audits and mentor junior auditors. You will work with senior team members and partners to deliver high-quality audits across a varied client base.

You will manage planning to completion, review working papers, address audit risks, and collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance teams. The role offers hybrid working, remote time, 26 days leave, a pension and healthcare, with

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• UK audit experience in practice.
• Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
• Strong UK GAAP/FRS 102 knowledge.
• Experience supervising junior auditors.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Ambition to progress to Audit Manager.

Responsibilities

• Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Taking responsibility for audit fieldwork and keeping assignments on track.
• Supervising Audit Seniors and trainees on client assignments.
• Reviewing audit working papers and providing feedback.
• Identifying key audit risks and addressing them.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Building strong relationships with finance teams and senior stakeholders.
• Acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
• Supporting Managers with portfolio planning, budgeting and workflow.
• Ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards.
• Coaching and developing junior team members.
• Identifying opportunities for additional client support.
• Collaborating with Tax and Corporate Finance teams.
