Job summary

Forvis Mazars UK is seeking a Data Analytics Assistant Manager to lead audit analytics projects and develop bespoke analytics tools across client engagements. You will mentor junior staff, ensure quality, and collaborate with audit and COE teams.

We operate a hybrid working model with a base in Manchester, client-site work when required, and remote work as needed, supporting innovative data-driven solutions and robust audit deliverables.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business analytics, data-science, statistics or equivalent programme focused on data and analytics.
• Strong work ethic with desire to learn and progress.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to lead engagements.
• Ability to write professional audit documents to high standards.
• Creative thinker, able to develop data-driven solutions and challenge status quo.
• Attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
• Interest in technology and innovation across analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead on multiple audit engagements from planning through finalisation; ensure timely delivery.
• Coach and develop junior team members and provide QA (first-level review).
• Design and develop tools / bespoke analytics with audit and COE teams.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and keep all parties informed of progress and issues.
• Deliver work to high technical standards and within budget and KPIs.
• Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and partner teams.
• Develop data-driven solutions to solve audit challenges and data puzzles.
