Job summary

Forvis Mazars is seeking a Data Analytics Assistant Manager to lead multiple audit engagements and develop analytics tools across UK clients. You will support the audit team with high-quality, robust analytics, re-performable processes, and data-driven insights to improve efficiency.

A hybrid model balances office, client sites, and home working. You should have a Master's in analytics or a related field, strong leadership, and experience with R/Python, Power BI, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business analytics, data-science, statistics or equivalent programme focused on data and analytics.
• Ability to lead engagements and write professional audit documents to high standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
• Experience with R and/or Python, data visualisation tools (Power BI) and SQL is desirable.
• Desirable experience with Alteryx, Azure, databases and the Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead on multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalisation of deliverables.
• Manage, train and coach junior team members.
• Provide quality assurance (first-level review).
• Develop tools / bespoke solutions with the audit centre of excellence and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure progress updates are communicated to stakeholders and projects stay on budget.
