Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is assisting a growing accountancy practice near Harrow to appoint an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager. The role offers significant client exposure with strong audit focus and progression opportunities.

You will manage a portfolio, work with managers and partners, and contribute to more complex advisory assignments as you develop. Based near Harrow, this is a permanent, full-time position with a clear growth path.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or nearing qualification.
• Solid UK practice experience across audit and accounts.
• Comfortable reviewing work and supervising juniors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver external audits from start to finish.
• Review audit work and ensure high quality standards.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
• Support corporation tax and wider compliance work.
• Manage your own client portfolio and keep assignments on track.
• Build trusted client relationships and act as a key contact.
• Identify issues and discuss solutions with clients and senior colleagues.
• Provide feedback to junior team members and support their development.
• Assist senior leaders on complex advisory assignments.
