Qualifications

• Experience across accounts preparation and audit for SME and corporate clients.
• Confident in managing client relationships with limited supervision.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and audit requirements.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and reviewing work.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed and corporate clients from planning to completion.
• Plan and oversee audit assignments to deliver high-quality work.
• Review statutory accounts and tax computations for accuracy.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK standards.
• Act as main client contact and build trusted relationships.
• Identify opportunities to add value and improve processes.
• Coach junior team members and support their development.
• Coordinate deadlines across multiple assignments and ensure workflow control.
• Collaborate with partners on complex client matters.
