Job summary

BOSS ERP Consulting is seeking an experienced AV Field Service Engineer in the United Kingdom to join our Field Engineering team. You will represent the company onsite at client sites, providing first-class technical support and remote assistance to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will manage fault tickets, liaise with clients, and respond to SLAs and KPIs while delivering professional, calm service.

Qualifications

• Experience as AV Field Service Engineer.
• Available for onsite attendance and remote support.
• Experience meeting SLA and KPI targets.

Responsibilities

• Onsite Service Engineering covering client sites as required.
• Travelling to Client sites (including European travel if required).
• Site and event coordination and support.
• Preventative Maintenance calls as required.
• Rotation of client sites as required.
• Small works installations, including handover to Client.
• Working any rotational shift basis as required.
• Administration necessary to support engineering role.
• Technically proficient in AV / VC / UC technologies.
• Able to manage Client communications and escalations.

• Reporting to: Field Service Engineering Manager
• Department: Service
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

Our client are a leading global Audio-Visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Field Service Engineer to be a key part of our Field Engineering team, representing the company, taking full responsibility for maintaining high levels of Customer Service through onsite attendance and remote technical support. Due to the nature of the Support Services business these areas are subject to tight SLA’s and KPI’s.

You shall develop and sustain excellent Customer relations whilst providing first class technical support for immediate fault resolution. You will be responsible for ensuring fault resolution is to Client satisfaction, ensuring the commercial impact of the account is upheld.

You shall be responsible for the management of and timely updating of fault tickets. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Field Service Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.
