Auto Skills UK is recruiting an experienced MOT Tester in Coventry to join an established dealership workshop. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards, inspect vehicles for defects, and ensure compliance while upholding high safety and quality in a professional automotive environment.

The role offers a competitive uncapped OTE (£34,500) with benefits, Monday–Friday 08:30–17:00 and Saturday rota, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• A valid MOT Tester qualification and appropriate DVSA authorisation.
• Experience carrying out MOT tests in line with current standards.

THE ROLE

As an MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements, ensuring vehicles meet the required safety and roadworthiness standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA standards
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying defects or safety concerns
• Accurately recording test results and completing required documentation
• Explaining test outcomes and identifying any work required
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and compliance
• Ensuring testing equipment and the testing area are kept in suitable condition
• Working alongside the wider workshop team to support an efficient service
• Delivering a professional approach to vehicle inspections and customer service
