Pertemps Swindon is recruiting a Saleroom Assistant for an auctioneer client near Cirencester, GL7. This permanent role offers up to £27,000 depending on experience, Monday to Friday 09:30–17:30, with increasing holiday entitlement based on length of service and two weeks paid off over the festive period.

You will unload, unpack and sort incoming items; carefully pack sold items for collection or delivery; assist with cataloguing and setting up sale rooms on auction days; help customers in

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks on a regular basis.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Willingness to learn while supporting multiple departments with in a team environment.
• Excellent communicator with internal staff and customers both face to face and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack and sort incoming items.
• Carefully pack and prepare sold items for collection or delivery to purchasers.
• Collect and prepare items for cataloguing, laying out and setting up sale rooms on auction days.
• Assist customers with collection incoming and outgoing items as well as viewing items.
• Drive company van to collect and deliver items from across the UK.
• Ensure security on auction days as well as being a part of phone and internet banking.
