Job summary

Harri at Urban Playground Manchester seeks a Cube and Putters Host to energise guests across 12 CUBEs and 3 Putters courses. You will act as game show host, engaging groups and bookings, with a flexible contract requiring regular weekends and evenings during the Christmas period and potential extension.

Role demands confident, engaging performers who can explain rules, manage gameplay, setup events, and maintain a clean venue while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience in presenting or performing roles.
• Experience in a competitive socialising or games venue.
• Experience working in high-volume venues.
• Experience working in large teams and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide energetic and enthusiastic game show host performances for every customer, including groups and party bookings.
• Explain and enforce rules of each game.
• Operate the CUBEs to determine win or loss.
• Learn and familiarise with all games, including technical setup and rules.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times.
• Assist in setting up the venue before opening.
• Ensure training is completed in a timely manner.
• Proactively contribute to and suggest improvements to company processes.
• Assist in onboarding newer team members.

Job Title: CUBE and Putters Host

Department: Attractions

Location: Urban Playground Manchester

Flexible contract - must be available to work regular weekends and evenings throughout the Christmas period (opportunities to extend)

Role Description

Working in the attractions team you are responsible for the delivery of a high-class entertainment operation. You will work at any of the 12 CUBEs, or 3 Putters courses, playing the role of game show host, and bringing the experience to life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing an energetic and enthusiastic performance of ‘Game show host’ for every customer, including groups and party bookings.
• Explaining and enforcing rules of each game.
• Operate the CUBEs to determine a win or loss.
• Learn and familiarise with all games, including technical set up and rules.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times.
• Assist in setting up the venue before opening.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all training is completed in a timely manner.
• Proactively contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes and procedures.
• Assisting in the onboarding of newer members of the team.
