Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented Airport Operations Analyst to support LHR station, reporting to the Airport Business Planning Manager. You will manage Workbrain-related attendance, payroll readiness and policy enforcement, coordinating with payroll and operations to drive efficiency and compliance.

Role includes leading change initiatives with airport teams and unions, training for ASMs and supervisors, and producing analytical reports to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

• Supervisory knowledge/experience using Workbrain.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update ATW agent exceptions, ensuring compliance with local procedures and working time directives.
• Administer company policies and procedures to manage lost time, including attendance meetings.
• Ensure station readiness for monthly payroll close.
• Collaborate with operational teams on Workbrain discrepancies and follow up for corrective action with Departmental Leaders, Audit Department, ASM & Team Leads.
• Proactively create and implement corrective action plans to support payroll and attendance goals, including training for ASMs, team leaders and agents.
• Oversee Workbrain locally and support future Workbrain initiatives, including digital solutions for station processes.
• Communicate with team members on absences, ensuring Workbrain reflects accurately and all supporting documentation is updated.
• Monitor, evaluate and explain drivers of lost time.
• Administer shift swaps/trades for sickness, jury duty, bereavement, etc., with restrictions.
• Provide analytical reports of attendance trends for management escalation.
• Prepare communications related to attendance.
• Support gradual return-to-work discussions and duties of care.
• Perform additional functions as required by station management, including analytics and special projects.
