Job summary

American Airlines in London Heathrow is seeking a Time & Attendance Coordinator to support the LHR operations and administration teams. You will help ensure compliance with payroll, regulatory requirements and headcount targets, handling exceptions and monthly close processes.

The role involves collaborating with payroll, scheduling and management, implementing digital solutions where appropriate, and ongoing training for ASMs and agents, with shift flexibility including weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Supervisory knowledge/experience using Workbrain.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lead change initiatives with airport, team member and union teams.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update ATW agent exceptions, ensuring compliance with procedures and directives.
• Administer policies to manage lost time and conduct attendance stage meetings.
• Ensure station readiness for monthly payroll close.
• Collaborate with operational teams on Workbrain discrepancies and drive corrective action.
• Create and implement corrective action plans for payroll and attendance goals; provide ongoing training.
• Oversee Workbrain locally and support future initiatives, including digital solutions for station processes.
• Communicate with team members on absences and ensure Workbrain is accurate.
• Provide analytical reports on attendance trends for management escalation.
• Prepare communications for distribution to employees regarding attendance.
• Support gradual return to work; conduct follow-up discussions.
• Assist with additional duties as required by station management.
