Zusammenfassung

The Ruth Gorse Academy is seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to promote excellent attendance and punctuality, ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. You will work with students, families, pastoral leaders and external agencies to remove barriers to attendance and monitor attendance data for targeted interventions.

The role requires a proactive, compassionate individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working with young people in a secondary school environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of attendance processes and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to analyse attendance data to inform interventions.
• Passion for improving outcomes for young people.

Aufgaben

• Monitor attendance data and identify patterns.
• Support intervention strategies to improve attendance and punctuality.
• Conduct home visits when required and liaise with families.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers and external agencies.
