Join our team as an attendance officer where you will play a key role in promoting school attendance by processing and issuing referrals made to the team for legal intervention.
This is a fast-paced role requiring accuracy, excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
As well as providing administrative support to the team the Attendance Team Officer provides information and advice to parents, schools and other agencies about all aspects of the Attendance Team’s work, including referrals to the team and school attendance guidance detailed in the LCC Attendance Team’s Code of Conduct and LCC Attendance Protocol.
The officer will be, in the main,responsible for the preparation of documents relating to the issuing of Penalty Notices, Notice to Improves and Prosecutions- so attention to detail is a must for any applicant.
