Job summary

The King's Academy invites applications for an Attendance Officer to join our experienced Attendance Team at Bay House School. The role focuses on recording and reporting pupil attendance and absence, and driving improvements in attendance.

You will work with parents, carers, pupils and staff, employing strategies to overcome barriers to attendance. A full driving licence is essential, and familiarity with MIS like Arbor and CPOMS is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Understanding of school systems and attendance issues.
• Experience with MIS (Arbor) and CPOMS is beneficial.
• Extremely well organised with strong prioritisation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative problem solving to address attendance issues, including EBSA and persistent absentees.
• Full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
