Job summary

Humberston Academy is seeking a dedicated Attendance Officer to support school-wide attendance strategies and reduce persistent absences. You will collaborate with the Attendance Information Officer to identify barriers, liaise with students, parents and external bodies, and promote a positive attendance culture within a high-performing academy.

The role requires strong organisational skills, reliability and a proactive approach to safeguarding and student welfare.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Attendance Information Officer to identify barriers to attendance
• Develop and implement solutions to remove barriers and improve attendance
• Liaise with pupils, parents and external agencies to secure improvements
• Drive is essential and candidates must have access to a vehicle
• This is a permanent post, 37 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year)
