Northampton School, part of The NSB Trust, is seeking an Attendance Officer to join our Inclusion team. You will manage attendance processes, respond to first-day issues, monitor attendance and intervene with students and families to improve punctuality, working with SENDCo, senior leaders and external agencies.

The role focuses on safeguarding, accurate record-keeping and clear communication with parents and staff.

Excellent organisational and administrative skills and ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Motivated, resilient, flexible and able to work independently.
Confident communicating with parents, students, colleagues and external agencies.
Strong ICT skills and experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Professional, approachable and able to manage sensitive situations with discretion.
Positive approach to challenge and commitment to improving student outcomes.
Support safeguarding and wellbeing of all students and help ensure a safe learning environment.
