Brackenberry Limited is recruiting an Attendance Mentor for the Walsall area. The role is a 3-month contract with potential extension at the client's discretion, offering hybrid working with office duties in Walsall Town Centre and visits to schools.

You will monitor attendance data, support families and schools, and help develop attendance improvement plans. DBS is required, and immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
• Experience working within an educational setting.
• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Mentor pupils and monitor and analyse school attendance data.
• Work collaboratively with schools, pupils, parents, families and professionals to address attendance concerns.
• Support the development, implementation and review of attendance improvement plans.
• Attend meetings and liaise with partner agencies and multi-agency professionals.
• Maintain accurate records, case notes and attendance-related documentation.
• Promote positive school attendance and support early intervention strategies.
