Job summary

Opus People Solutions Ltd, recruiting on behalf of Walsall Council, seeks an Attendance Mentor to improve attendance for children with a social worker. The role is temporary, term-time only, with hybrid, office-based work in Walsall Town Centre and school/home visits.

Requirements include experience in education, attendance processes, and strong communication and IT skills. Driving licence and car insurance are essential. Duration until 31 March 2027 with potential extension.

Attendance Mentor

Rate of Pay: £16.35 per hour PAYE / £22.20 per hour UMB

Term Time Only

Hybrid working - Office based within Walsall Town Centre and School/home visits.

Working hours: 37 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday (30-minute unpaid break). 8.30am-4.00pm Friday (30-minute unpaid break)

Duration: Temporary basis, until 31st March 2027 with potential to extend

Full UK Driving Licence with access to own car and Business Insurance is essential.
