Job summary

Colneis Junior School is recruiting for an Attendance and Inclusion Support Officer to join the federation. The role covers attendance, medical needs and SEND administration, working across two sites to remove barriers to learning and support wellbeing.

The post requires DBS clearance, confidentiality, and collaboration with pupils, families, staff and external agencies. The role includes safeguarding responsibilities and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in school administration, attendance, pastoral support, SEND or safeguarding would be valuable.
• Strong organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to handle information with confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate attendance, medical needs and SEND administrative processes to remove barriers to learning.
• Work with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to improve attendance and wellbeing.
• Support SEND processes, medical documentation and attendance interventions.
• Act as Alternate Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and support the safeguarding team.
• Travel between federation sites and occasional home visits; a full driving licence and vehicle insurance are essential.
• Ensure records are accurate, up to date and compliant with statutory requirements.
