Job Title: AVP - Sales (New Business Development)

Reporting To: SVP / VP of Sales

Location : London, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify new business opportunities through outbound efforts such as cold calling, email outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Prospecting & Qualifying: Qualify leads by understanding their business needs and identifying potential solutions.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing the benefits and value propositions of the product or service.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target companies.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and close sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline in CRM software, ensuring timely follow-ups and keeping track of prospects and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, customer support) to ensure smooth transitions from prospect to customer.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to continuously improve sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 12+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a B2B environment with a strong focus on prospecting and new business acquisition.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to identify new prospects, create opportunities, and drive sales conversations close.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas or targets.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and persuade effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time efficiently.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively and maintain positive relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in IT Service Industry
