What will you do?
As an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Account Management, you will drive client success by managing a core portfolio of Credit clients, nurturing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires adaptability and proactive response to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Ownership: Manage a portfolio of Credit clients, fostering strong relationships with decision-makers at all levels, from analysts to CIOs.
Revenue Growth: Drive renewals, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities, taking full responsibility for your territory’s commercial outcomes.
Strategic Planning: Participate in quarterly territory and account planning, contributing to overall Account Management strategies.
Client Advocacy: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring needs are met and feedback is effectively communicated.
Data Management: Maintain accurate client data in Salesforce, forecast effectively, and track performance metrics.
Leadership: Mentor and manage an Associate, aligning their priorities with yours and providing coaching.
Feedback Loop: Collect and communicate client insights to relevant internal teams.
You will be part of a supportive team that values open communication, collaboration, and adaptability.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: Proven track record in account management with a focus on achieving revenue goals; subscription-based selling experience is a plus.
Skills: Strong renewal and sales skills, commercial acumen, financial understanding (helpful but not essential), and proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; capable of engaging with all levels from junior analysts to C-level executives.
Behaviours: Flexibility, confidence, organization, adaptability, and a customer-centric mindset; self-motivated with a passion for finance and success.
Bonus: Experience in fixed-income markets or familiarity with hedge funds/credit firms is advantageous.
