Job summary

Global Search+Select seeks an Associate Project Manager for onshore wind development in the UK. The role supports delivery from concept through final investment decision, in a collaborative project environment with hybrid working in Edinburgh.

You will assist in milestone delivery, stakeholder engagement, and documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants while promoting safe and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3+ years’ experience in a professional project environment, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or development.
• Understanding of core project management principles.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to managing documentation and project data.
• Motivated to learn and develop within the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering key development milestones for onshore wind projects.
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, risk registers, budgets, and stakeholder plans.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams such as stakeholder engagement, environmental surveys, or design coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment across project phases.
• Engage with landowners, public authorities, and local communities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Promote safe, structured, and compliant project delivery practices.
