Job summary

Global Search+Select is seeking an Associate Project Manager – Onshore Wind to support the development of renewable energy projects across the UK, from early-stage concept through to final investment decision. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, managing documentation, and engaging with landowners and authorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3+ years’ experience in a professional project environment, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or development.
• Understanding of core project management principles.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to managing documentation and project data.
• Motivated to learn and develop within the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in delivering key development milestones for onshore wind projects.
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, risk registers, budgets, and stakeholder plans.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams such as stakeholder engagement, environmental surveys, or design coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment across project phases.
• Engage with landowners, public authorities, and local communities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Promote safe, structured, and compliant project delivery practices.
