Job summary

Electricity Supply Board in Glasgow seeks a Project Manager, Onshore Wind & Renewables, to drive early-phase development of onshore wind projects and potentially battery/solar schemes across Great Britain, with a Scotland focus.

The role is hybrid, based in the Glasgow office, with travel across GB and occasional Dublin head office visits. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate planning consent processes to deliver construction-ready projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years relevant experience with leading EIA development.
• Strong knowledge of S36 and TCPA systems in GB, with a Scotland focus.
• Proven project management experience for wind farm development.
• Experience in GB onshore renewables sector.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management.
• Interpersonal skills and collaboration abilities.
• Understanding land rights, options and leases.
• Knowledge of grid connection requirements.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development from Concept to Development Phase under guidance.
• Develop and secure business cases and board approvals.
• Lead landowner negotiations and development agreements.
• Coordinate EIAR and planning application preparation.
• Manage external stakeholders including authorities and communities.
• Select and manage third-party development partners and services.
• Provide regular management reporting and budget oversight.
• Implement Health & Safety policies and procedures.
