QinetiQ Limited in Farnborough seeks an Associate IT Engineer to join a team delivering IT projects and programmes. The role covers design, implementation, integration and test of IT solutions on-site, with responsibilities ranging from hardware/software builds to customer-facing outputs.

The ideal candidate has a first degree in Science or Engineering and broad IT exposure, including Windows/Server infrastructure, networking, Linux and Hyper-V virtualization.

Qualifications

• First degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience
• Experience in IT engineering role
• Broad experience: Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V) and Linux

Responsibilities

• Deliver hardware/software builds and systems
• Installation and integration
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Deliver outputs and provide technical documents, plans and guides
• Undertake tasks with moderate guidance
