Connected Engineering has been exclusively retained on a key requirement for a forward-thinking and professional Engineering & Design Consultancy based in Leeds.

This firm has been growing steadily over recent years and has a portfolio of clients in Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Housing, and more, including both Commercial and Residential projects. Due to business success, we are seeking a skilled Associate Electrical Design Engineer.

This role is crucial to our client, especially in fostering future growth. It is therefore vital that the successful candidate is motivated to develop their skills and experience. To incentivize this, directorship and shareholding opportunities are available following success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver successful outcomes for complex projects
• Provide technical expertise across the business
• Develop and enforce robust QA procedures
• Review project designs
• Manage projects effectively
• Oversee budget management
• Procure new work
• Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers
• Develop and lead a high-performing team, including recruitment, appraisal, and training

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent (CEng) is preferred
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design tools
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance
