Senior / Associate Electrical Design Engineer

Greater Bristol Area

Hybrid working: 3/4 days per week on-site

Salary range DOE: £53,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Summary

Our client, based in the Greater Bristol area, is seeking a Senior / Associate Electrical Design Engineer to support dynamic building services and low carbon design projects. You will be working at the forefront of low energy building design.

Main responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Engineers across multiple projects
• Use AutoCAD/Revit and supervise drawings in 2D / 3D design
• Monitor progress on-site and prepare regular reports and specifications
• Support design teams and clients during the project design phase
• Represent the company with clients and assist in business development
• Maintain CEng - Chartered membership of a professional institution
• Hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 6 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Ability to lead projects and manage teams
• Experience with software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or Dialux (not all required)
• 7 years’ experience in electrical building systems design
• Knowledge of emerging green technologies (e.g., battery storage, photovoltaics, EV charging)
• Highly experienced in Revit
