  • Prepare clear, tailored fee proposals and quotations, even from underdeveloped briefs
  • Support high-quality tender submissions with written responses, pricing, and documentation
  • Provide senior-level input on projects while supporting project leads and encouraging cross-discipline collaboration
  • Maintain and grow strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor
  • Lead on performance tracking using Earned Value Analysis and manage resource planning
  • Champion quality, compliance, and Safety by Design throughout project stages
  • Oversee change control, technical risk mitigation, and ensure CDM compliance
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, support team development and skills progression
  • Lead from the front, taking a hands-on approach to engineering challenges when needed

Candidate Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE and/or IStructE)
  • Proven track record of delivering civil/structural infrastructure projects at a senior level
  • Strong understanding of UK design codes, Eurocodes, and industry standards
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Leadership experience with an emotionally intelligent, team-first approach
  • Comfortable managing budgets, deadlines, and complex delivery milestones
  • Hands-on technical skills and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams

Why Join Frankham (via Capilaux)?

  • Technical leadership role with real influence
  • Work in a culture of engineering excellence and inclusion
  • Join a growing team with clear career progression
  • Deliver meaningful infrastructure that shapes communities
  • Be supported by a respected leadership team and structured training pathways
