Summary

Our client, based across the Greater Bristol area, is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to support dynamic building services and low carbon design. You will work at the forefront of low energy building design.

Main Responsibilities

1. Lead Electrical Engineers across multiple projects.
2. Utilize AutoCAD/Revit and supervise 2D/3D drawings.
3. Monitor progress on-site and prepare regular reports and specifications.
4. Support design teams and clients during project phases.
5. Represent the company with clients and assist in business development.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings.
• Ability to lead projects and teams (management and leadership skills).
• Experience with software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or Dialux (not all required).
• Chartered membership (CEng) of a professional institution.
• Knowledge of emerging green technologies like battery storage, photovoltaics, or EV charging design.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• BPSS clearance.
