Summary

Our client, based across Greater Bristol, requires an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to support dynamic building services and low carbon design. You will work at the forefront of low energy building design.

Main responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineers across multiple projects
• Utilize AutoCAD/Revit and supervise drawings in 2D/3D design
• Monitor project progress on-site and prepare regular reports and specifications
• Support design teams and clients during project phases
• Supervise junior engineers
• Represent the company with clients and support business development initiatives
• Manage project finances

Essential

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Ability to lead projects and manage teams
• Experience with software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or Dialux (not all required)

Desirable

• 7 years’ experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Chartered membership (CEng) of a professional institution
• Knowledge of emerging green technologies (e.g., battery storage, photovoltaics, EV charging design)
• Highly experienced in Revit
• BPSS clearance
