About The Role

We are seeking a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Bristol office. The successful candidate will support and deliver electrical design projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards and foster client relationships. Bristol is a vibrant city with a strong history and ambitious growth plans, including becoming carbon-neutral in the next decade. Our Bristol office has over 100 MEP engineers and a range of specialist disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of electrical design services for various projects.
• Develop strategic concepts ensuring compliance with briefs and standards.
• Engage with stakeholders, attend project meetings, and communicate effectively.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and resources.
• Mentor and support junior team members, including apprentices and graduates.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with a record of delivering complex projects.
• Familiarity with technical delivery processes and software such as BIM, Revit, Dialux, and Relux.
• Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design consultancy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and a collaborative spirit.
• Experience supporting team development and knowledge sharing.
