Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an Associate EHS Consultant to deliver high‑impact health, safety and environmental consultancy for clients in waste, industry, power and energy sectors. You will work in a client‑facing advisory capacity, partnering with stakeholders from operations to senior leadership to improve compliance, manage risk and enhance EHS performance.

The role sits within the EMPC team, with mentoring and a structured career framework; preferred locations include Manchester or Bristol,

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy, regulatory or industrial environments.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
• Solid knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end EHS consultancy projects across sectors.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to improve EHS performance.
• Support regulatory compliance and environmental obligations for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS legislation and industry developments.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
