HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Limited seeks an Associate Director for its Family Office team, overseeing complex trust and corporate structures for ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients. You will influence succession planning and work with senior stakeholders across GPB, TFS and HSBC Group.
You will lead and develop colleagues, navigate international family dynamics, and ensure risk and regulatory compliance within Jersey and global contexts.
Are you an experienced fiduciary professional who enjoys complexity, influence and variety?
Join HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Limited as an Associate Director in our Family Office team, where you’ll work at the intersection of wealth management, succession planning and international fiduciary services. You’ll manage sophisticated trust and corporate structures for ultra‑high-net-worth families, influence long‑term client outcomes and help shape the next generation of talent within the team.
This is an opportunity to take your HSBC career in a new direction, broaden your experience and build your leadership profile in a globally connected wealth‑management environment. No two client situations are the same: you’ll navigate international family dynamics, complex structures, diverse assets, regulatory requirements and evolving succession‑planning objectives.
As an HSBC employee in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM) you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all employees, enhanced parental and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a non‑contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.
You’ll lead the day-to-day management of a portfolio of complex trust and corporate structures for Family Office clients, supported by junior team members. Working independently and as a senior point of support for the team, you’ll guide Trust Relationship Managers (TRMs) in managing succession‑planning structures for Global Private Banking (GPB) clients.
Your clients may include international families with large multi‑entity structures and diverse asset types. You’ll build trusted relationships and work closely with GPB Global Relationship Managers, GPB Market Heads, internal specialists and external tax and legal advisers to deliver joined‑up, high‑quality relationship management.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll also help shape how we work, develop colleagues and provide direction on complex matters. Your leadership will be visible through the quality of decisions, the confidence of your colleagues and the outcomes delivered for clients.
