Job summary

HSBC Trustee (C.I.) Limited seeks an Associate Director for its Family Office team, overseeing complex trust and corporate structures for ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients. You will influence succession planning and work with senior stakeholders across GPB, TFS and HSBC Group.

You will lead and develop colleagues, navigate international family dynamics, and ensure risk and regulatory compliance within Jersey and global contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex trust and corporate structures for UHNW Family Office clients.
• Experience supporting succession planning for global private banking clients.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to junior colleagues.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and Jersey regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of a portfolio of complex trust and corporate structures for Family Office clients.
• Guide Trust Relationship Managers in managing succession-planning structures for GPB clients.
• Build trusted relationships with international families and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with HSBC’s risk-management framework and Jersey laws and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate structure-specific risks with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Improve processes to enhance client experience, efficiency and team effectiveness.
• Contribute to projects, revenue oversight and key performance indicators.
