AtkinsRéalisUK Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice (PDP) is the centre of excellence for the delivery of infrastructure projects and the home unit for our project management staff. The team is responsible for delivery of design services across our Markets of Water Infrastructure, Defence Infrastructure, Aviation, Energy, Stations, and Urban Developments. These may be delivered as single major projects or a programme of smaller projects. Our Clients include, AWE, Berkeley Homes, BAE Systems, DIO, EDF, Environment Agency, the FCO, Heathrow, Birmingham, London City and Gatwick Airports, High Speed 2, The Metropolitan Police, Scottish Water, Sellafield, Seven Trent Water, St Modwen, Thames Water, Transport for London and United Utilities.

We have an exciting new opportunity in our Project Delivery Practice for an Associate Director/Senior Project Manager to be based in our Bristol office. As an Associate Director Project Manager, you would be responsible for delivering major multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to construction across our expanding portfolio of the biggest and most challenging projects across all Market Sectors.

As Associate Director/Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities include:

• The successful delivery of projects to targets such as programme, budget, and quality. Developing project objectives and strategies, and managing contractual and commercial risks.
• Leading and developing the project team, facilitating communication with clients and within the project team, including subcontractors and partners.
• Agreeing commercial arrangements and communication plans, issuing task orders, and managing procurement with internal and external teams, including our Global Delivery Centres in Bangalore and New Delhi.
• Owning the project delivery programme, managing financial aspects including invoicing, credit control, and risk management, with reporting on project performance.
• Closing out projects, archiving documentation, capturing lessons learned, and ensuring client satisfaction surveys are conducted.

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer/Architect or equivalent with experience managing large infrastructure projects.
• Experience across Water Infrastructure, Rail, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development projects.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, especially NEC3 or 4.
• Experience managing design projects within time, cost, and quality constraints, familiar with programming and earned value techniques.
• Familiarity with BIM, 3D modelling tools, and information management within models.
