Role Overview

Our motivated team members are central to our success! As Associate Director, EMEA Payroll Operations, you will oversee the delivery of managed payroll services to our global clients, set strategic direction, and work with the wider business to improve processes and enhance value. The goal is accurate, timely, compliant payrolls, excellent customer experience, and operational efficiency. You will manage a diverse team to achieve these objectives.

This role involves occasional visits to our global offices and client sites.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in:

  • Building a high-performance, client-focused team that delivers on commitments and provides excellent service
  • Strategic leadership of payroll operations across the EMEA region, utilizing our in-country partner network
  • Successful service delivery, SLA achievement, and high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with senior management and C-suite to identify and implement service improvements
  • Supporting sales and marketing with accurate, up-to-date data
  • Providing business reports and KPIs, identifying trends, and proactively managing processes and people
  • Managing relationships with global third-party providers
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Demonstrating expertise in payroll operations and compliance
  • Identifying risks and resolving obstacles to client satisfaction
  • Communicating operational strategies across departments
  • Building a payroll-experienced team with knowledge of key country legislation
  • Leading and mentoring teams through challenging client interactions, acting as escalation point

What we are looking for in you

At least 5+ years of payroll experience in a complex, multi-client, global environment, including management and implementation.

  • Experience managing multiple international client relationships

  • Over 5 years of leadership experience, successfully building and scaling high-performing teams
