OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/SECTION

MUFG has a developing and thriving Transaction Banking business, headquartered in Tokyo, and spanning all continents. Our key responsibilities are to drive regional business and support global and regional customers with Transaction Banking solutions in Cash and Liquidity Management, Trade and Working Capital, and Foreign Exchange through a comprehensive suite of proprietary and 3rd party digital channels.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role requires a motivated associate (minimum of 3-5 years experience), which encompasses learning and growing in accountability for E2E Product Life Cycle management, product P&L management, risk, compliance, and conduct management of digital channels for Transaction banking.

This role supports a VP in the ownership of the end-to-end life cycle management of the core solutions for UK, Europe & MENA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn and support Product ownership & business steering of proprietary and 3rd party digital channels.
• Demonstrate understanding of the role and support elements of active product life cycle management.
• Support Product Development/Product Change.
• Support E2E Product Process Accountability.
• Learn and understand Regulatory & Business Risk.
• Support the Named Product Owner for the region.
• Product Proposition (Pricing, External Marketing, Internal Awareness).
• Product Policy Development/Maintenance.
• Production of Regional Product reporting (Statistics & Management Information).
• External Outlook.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 3-5 years at Associate level experience in a GTB product management role.
• Track record as technical integration/implementation specialist between bank and MNCs.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong, technical understanding of the European Payments industry.
• Familiarity with 3rd party specialist ERP/TMS applications.
• Good knowledge of end-to-end Client Implementation.
