Job summary

Northrop Grumman UK in Cheltenham is seeking an Associate Delivery Manager to support defence, national security and cyber programmes. You will oversee delivery work packages, ensure milestones and budgets are met, and provide governance and stakeholder engagement within agile teams.

You'll learn from experienced Delivery Managers and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, developing skills in delivery, programme support and leadership for complex missions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting projects, programmes or operational delivery activities.
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Lean or similar methodologies.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Experience using business and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues and customers at different levels.
• A proactive mindset with an interest in delivery excellence, problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of projects and programmes, ensuring milestones, budgets and customer expectations are effectively managed.
• Monitor project performance, including financial tracking, forecasting, resource demand and governance reporting.
• Work with delivery, account and business management teams to identify and mitigate risks, issues and delivery challenges.
• Support agile teams by applying project management principles, delivery frameworks and continuous improvement practices.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• Contribute to commercial processes, project mobilisation activities, audits, reporting requirements and change control activities.
