Overview

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

• Act as the key account manager, developing client relationships based on partnership and trust.
• Use your business development skills to engage new clients as well as repeat projects with existing clients.
• Oversee key strategic client projects.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Express high proficiency in Cost X & databooks.
• Have experience managing large teams.
• Lead in the preparation of QTO for Cost Plans / BoQs.
• Prepare and implement QA/QC Plans / Manuals for project quality assurance.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in MEP packages and moderate knowledge of MEPF works.
• Have basic knowledge of procurement for global projects.
• Handle multiple projects and stakeholders across various time zones.
• Support Sales and Marketing efforts.
• Participate in drafting proposals to clients.
• Develop strong client relationships to support the business.
• Impart training to leaders and team members.
• Foster top performance and growth through mentorship and leadership.
• Lead your team to deliver high-quality work and client value.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in cost management, especially pre-construction works, ideally from a consultancy background, on large-scale construction projects, particularly data center and life sciences projects.
• Have at least 4 years of experience using Cost X (or Planswift / Cubicost / Candy / ZW CAD).
• Have experience and confidence in leading a business, building a team, and developing trusted client relationships.
• Are chartered or on the path to becoming chartered. We can assist with this.
• Are savvy in understanding business models and pursuing market opportunities.
• Possess a degree or equivalent experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
• Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Enjoy a dynamic environment with opportunities to manage priorities and deadlines independently.
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through shared purpose and openness.
