Job summary

Radius is seeking an Associate Business Analyst to join our Data Services & Reporting team in Crewe. You will work with business stakeholders, data analysts and delivery managers to define data-led solutions and deliver measurable business value.

Ideal candidates have experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with strong SQL, BI tool knowledge (Tableau/Power BI) and excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst, Associate Business Analyst or similar requirements-focused role.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders and facilitating discussions to gather and refine business requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify root causes.
• Experience documenting requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to interrogate and validate data.
• Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence working with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, priorities and opportunities.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for data, reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Produce process maps, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Support impact assessments, gap analysis and root cause investigations.
• Work with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Help promote adoption and effective use of reporting, analytics and self-service solutions.
• Support solution testing and validation using SQL and BI tools.
