Summary

Join a dynamic, specialist international Lloyds broking business that creates and places a diverse range of bespoke covers on behalf of clients operating across various industry sectors.

The Junior Broker will support the end-to-end broking process, place risks into the Lloyds/Company market, and develop strong relationships with clients. The role involves providing operational support to the broking team and proactively assisting in managing clients' risks and insurance programs.

Responsibilities

1. Provide daily support to the Specialty teams, with flexibility to work across different insurance classes as required.
2. Manage broking on less complex accounts or contribute to overall placement strategies on complex accounts.
3. Support the team in developing client relationships by ensuring all client needs and administrative requirements are addressed promptly, accurately, and in compliance.
4. Assist Managers in quality control of slips and endorsements, and resolve processing queries.
5. Monitor and seek approval for slips and endorsements via the London Market's PPL platform and the firm's preferred platform (White Space).

Candidate Profile

• Experience within a Lloyds London market environment.
• Understanding of the risk placement process.
• Familiarity with MRC slips and endorsements.
• Experience with PPL and/or White Space is advantageous but not essential.
