Job summary

Mileway in Birmingham seeks an Associate Asset Manager to help manage our premium last-mile real estate portfolio. You’ll work within a dynamic team, supporting lettings, renewals, rent reviews and asset performance analysis.

Under guidance from senior colleagues, you’ll contribute to market research, budgeting, and reporting, while developing relationships with occupiers, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Mileway supports APC pathway with mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a RICS-accredited discipline or equivalent.
• Interest in real estate and the growing last-mile logistics sector.
• Strong analytical, financial, and commercial skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Support lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, and capital expenditure.
• Assist in negotiating commercial lease terms and documentation.
• Monitor asset performance and escalate risks with solutions.
• Conduct market research to support strategy and value creation.
• Carry out financial analysis and help prepare budgets and reports.
• Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio performance and occupier service.
• Support refurbishment, redevelopment, and extensions with related teams.
• Build relationships with occupiers and stakeholders to understand needs.
• Collaborate with consultants, external managers, and internal teams.
