Job summary

Mileway is seeking an Asset Manager to join our Leeds team. You will own the asset management strategy for a portfolio of industrial/logistics properties, accelerate leasing activity and strengthen financial performance across the region.

You will partner with Asset Management, Property Management, Development and Finance to translate regional plans into results, building trusted relationships with occupiers and advisers and delivering long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management of industrial/logistics real estate.
• Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills.
• Proven leasing transaction experience.
• Ability to manage budgets and performance reporting.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• MRICS qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of asset management strategy and plans for allocated portfolio.
• Lead leasing activity across the portfolio: lettings, renewals, rent reviews.
• Negotiate commercial lease terms with advisers for documented transactions.
• Monitor operational and financial performance, identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop strategies to maximise occupancy, rental growth and long-term value.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports with financial analysis.
• Identify value-creation initiatives including redevelopment and sustainability.
• Develop marketing/leasing strategies for vacant properties and drive occupier demand.
• Build strong relationships with occupiers, agents, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with regional and national consultants and external partners.
• Collaborate with Development and Finance to assess opportunities and timelines.
• Provide timely portfolio updates to senior stakeholders.
