Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking an Assistant Swimming Coordinator/Teacher for London sites N20 and N12. The role supports a large swim programme, including swimming lessons, aerobics and scuba, along with dry-side activities and our Approved Training Centre courses for teachers, lifeguards and first aid.

Candidates should have swimming qualification(s) and be within an hour’s commute. We offer progression opportunities as the team grows, paid training, as well as staff discounts on food, gym, shopping

Qualifications

• Must have swimming teaching qualifications at any level.
• Be within an hour’s commute.
• Good communication and organisational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver swimming teaching for all ages, plus aerobics and scuba.
• Support dry-side activities including soft play and Approved Training Centre courses (teacher, lifeguard, first aid).
• Work with the full-time team to deliver a large swim programme and activities.

Assistant Swimming Coordinator/Teacher | London N20 and N12 | Full or Part Time | Up to £31,000 per annum

Our client is a family-run business and was established in 1975. They are well known in the area for their swimming lessons and, over the years, have added to what we offer to the local area.

The company has two sites which are within 10 minutes of each other. The team prides itself on never having to close the pools unless necessary or told to do so for unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions.

Are you the right person for the job?

• You will have good communication and organisational skills
• Be reliable and responsible
• Swimming teaching qualifications of any level
• Additional teaching qualifications will be available to the successful candidate
• You must be within an hour’s commute

What will your role look like?

Working with the full-time team to help deliver a large swim programme and activities, which includes swimming teaching for all ages, aerobics, and scuba. This will be alongside the dry side, which includes soft play and the company’s own Approved Training Centre courses, which deliver teacher, lifeguard and first aid courses.
