Ann Fowler House is supported accommodation for 38 adults experiencing homelessness.

We are looking to recruit a Homeless Resettlement Assistant (known internally as an Assistant Support Worker), who is motivated, person-centred, keen to work as part of a team to deliver great results and ultimately make a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in line with all relevant legislation and guidelines to protect service users, staff, and visitors from any abuse, accident, or injury.
  • Maintain and develop day-to-day office duties and provide administrative support.
  • Document and maintain factual service records relating to customer welfare, support, and any health & safety matters.
  • Respect the diversity of other people’s culture, faith, and practice.
  • Understand and work within the Mission and Values of The Salvation Army.
  • Support the spiritual programme running within the service where required.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably expected of someone in this role.
