Hotel Chocolat is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving profitable sales and a premium customer experience in our Livingston store. You will lead the team, manage KPIs, and ensure health and safety and HR processes are followed.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience, P&L awareness, and strong communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to grow the business and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or premium retailer delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Understanding of P&L responsibility.
• Strong commercial awareness to support store decisions.
• Excellent communication skills adaptable to situations.
• Teamwork and ability to work autonomously with your team.
• Decisive problem-solving and time management.
• Reliable with organisational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Act as store lead in the Store Manager's absence to drive profitable sales and KPIs.
• Oversee Health & Safety and HR processes and procedures in-store.
• Coach and train the team to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to maintain brand standards.
