Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and drive profitable sales while delivering an exceptional in-store experience. The role requires hospitality or premium retail background, strong people skills, and the ability to lead and coach the team to achieve KPIs.

You will be accountable in the Store Manager's absence, manage Health & Safety and HR processes, and foster relationships with customers and stakeholders to maintain the brand's premium standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, café, or premium retailer delivering excellent customer experience.
• Understanding of P&L responsibility.
• Commercial awareness to support store decisions.
• Strong communication and adaptable with customers and team.
• Autonomous and collaborative team member.
• Reliable with timekeeping and organisational skills.
• Goal-oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
• IT literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and lead the team in absence of the Store Manager.
